You need

  • A cloth bag or pillowcase
  • 5–6 things with different textures: a sponge, spoon, pine cone, toy car, sock

Let's play

  1. Put one thing in the bag while your child isn’t looking.
  2. Let them reach in without peeking and feel it.
  3. Ask: is it soft or hard? Bumpy or smooth? Big or small?
  4. Have them guess, then pull it out to check!
Grown-up tip: Swap roles: your child hides something and you guess.
