Drip, drop. Drip, drop. The rain is falling on the garden.

Pip the Penguin puts on his red hat. "Rain means puddles!" says Pip.

Here is a little puddle. Pip jumps in. Splish!

Here is a middle puddle. Pip jumps in. Splash!

Here is a BIG puddle. Pip counts, "One... two... THREE!" SPLOOSH!

Now Pip is wet from his hat to his toes. He does not mind one bit. Penguins love water!

The rain stops. The sun peeks out. And look — a rainbow is smiling over the very biggest puddle of all.

Let's talk about it

  • Which puddle made the biggest splash?
  • Can you count to three and jump like Pip?
  • What do you wear when it rains?
