The sun goes down. The sky turns pink, then purple, then deep, deep blue.

Benny Bear yawns a big bear yawn. Hoo-ahh! Goodnight, Benny.

Lulu Bunny snuggles into her soft burrow. Goodnight, Lulu.

Fizz the Frog sits on his lily pad and closes his eyes. Goodnight, Fizz.

Pip the Penguin pulls up his blanket, all the way to his beak. Goodnight, Pip.

But Ollie Owl is wide awake. Owls stay up at night! Ollie watches over his sleeping friends.

He whispers to the stars, "Shine softly." He whispers to the wind, "Blow gently." He whispers to the moon, "Keep my friends cozy."

And when the morning comes, Ollie fluffs up his feathers, closes his big eyes and settles down for the day. Goodnight, Ollie. Sweet dreams.
