Ice Animal Rescue
You need
- Small plastic animals
- A container
- Salt, warm water, spoons
Let's play
- The night before, freeze small toys in a tub of water.
- Tip out the ice block — the animals are trapped!
- Rescue them with warm water, salt and spoons.
- Talk about which way melted the ice fastest.
Grown-up tip: Do it outside or in the bath on a warm day. Use animals too big to fit in a mouth, and stay close by around water.
